Truck Driver
- Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods to designated locations, adhering to all scheduled timeframes and deadlines.
- Regularly inspect and maintain the truck to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies, including proper loading and securing of cargo.
- Maintained accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs, ensuring all paperwork was correctly completed and submitted.
- Requirements:
- Must hold a valid CDL with the appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being driven.
- Previous experience as a truck driver is preferred, with a strong track record of safe and efficient driving.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading cargo and long hours of driving.
- Maintain a clean driving record with no major violations or accidents, demonstrating reliability and responsibility on the road.
Owner Operator
- Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of freight to various destinations, maintaining high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the truck, ensuring it meets all safety and operational standards.
- Adhere to all transportation regulations, including service hours, weight limits, and safety protocols, ensuring full compliance.
- Manage business aspects such as scheduling, invoicing, and expense tracking, ensuring efficient operation and profitability.
- Requirements:
- Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the necessary endorsements for the type of freight being hauled.
- Have significant experience as a truck driver and/or owner-operator, demonstrating a solid understanding of the logistics industry.
- Own and maintain a reliable, well-maintained truck that meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Carry appropriate insurance, including liability and cargo insurance, to cover potential risks and ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
